What Beyond the Screen is

To prepare Africa's next generation of leaders by helping young people discover purpose, develop practical leadership competencies, build meaningful careers and enterprises, and contribute to sustainable development across the continent.

Beyond the Screen (BTS) is the flagship annual Africa Leadership & Development Summit convened by EASYNEC Global Impact, established to nurture Africa's next generation of visionary leaders by helping young people move beyond passive consumption to purposeful leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and societal impact.

It is an initiative founded on the belief that Africa's future will not be transformed by technology alone, nor by social media influence alone, but by young leaders who possess purpose, competence, character, and the courage to solve real problems.

In today's digital world, millions of young Africans spend countless hours consuming information, following trends, and admiring successful people through their screens. While technology has opened unprecedented opportunities, it has also created distractions, unrealistic expectations, misinformation, and a culture of comparison.
